We do our best to not only get the projects you need done, but to get them done right according to all the electrical codes and rules in Federal guidelines and in the state of Vermont.
Owner Russ Bowen loves electrical work. As a kid he enjoyed tinkering with the electronics in his house to learn how they work. To this day he still has the drive to continue learning and becoming a better Electrician.
Meet the Team
Owner and Master Electrician
Russ was born in Fort Lee, Virginia and has lived in various places in New England. His family has roots in Wells River, which is also where he graduated high school from. When he was 17 years old, he started a tech class in 1985 at Oxbow Vocational School in Bradford, VT. It was during one class, in particular, where they were working outside of the classroom and wiring a new house when he realized that this was the job for him. This came as bit of a shock (no pun intended) because he always had thought that he wanted to be a lineman like his grandfather. Trying this kind of work in high school, though, changed his perspective and he knew it was going to be a good fit. He apprenticed under other electricians until 1992 when he obtained his Journeyman Electricians license. In 1994 Russ became a Master Electrician in VT & NH. Since then he has also gained a Vermont Fire Alarm Certification.
When asked what his favorite part of being an electrician was, he replied, “Lighting. I like to design it, see how it comes out, and to turn it on when the job is done.”
Electrical work isn’t the only thing Russ is passionate about! He is an avid fisherman! He can also be seen jamming away on the guitar and singing with some friend on their little side project, “91 North”.
Keith is from Craftsbury, VT and is a Licensed Journeyman Electrician in Vermont. He met Russ officially when he was a wee boy. He didn’t really get to know him, though, until about 12 years ago when they were working on a volunteer construction project together. Keith enjoys the variety of different tasks and types of work preformed each day. No job is even the same! Keith’s father was an electrician, so he was always around other electricians, so it seemed like a natural perfect fit, and one that was a steady job. When Keith isn’t working, he enjoys being outdoors hiking, biking, going to the lakes, and enjoying the snow. Something fun to know about Keith is that he had the opportunity to do volunteer work for 4 years in New York City!
